Questions "Much Ado About Nothing"

Welcome to the August 6th version of Thursday Thunks!
Where we make you think a little bit before you blog!
This week we will answer some crazy questions brought to you by Berleen, the number 1 and the color of the crap under your shoe.

1. What the hell were you thinking?

I obviously wasn’t thinking. (A good standard answer whenever I was not sure why my father was upset at me.)

2. The tornado sirens go off in your neighborhood. What do you do?

Nothing because I would assume that it is a test of the emergency alert system.

3. Give us a recipe.

Sappy eh?

4. It's the middle of the night, there isn’t a car in sight and you are stuck at a red light that just won't change.... how long do you wait until you run it?

I’d try flashing my lights first. But if it were somewhere that I was familiar with that doesn’t have photo enforcement, I’d wait about 5 minutes.

5. When was the last time you got all dressed up fancy-like? Where did you go?

Last weekend I dressed-up for my godbrother’s wedding. The ceremony was at a Mission and the reception in a garden at a vineyard.

6. Have you ever had a mole removed?

My cat is a very good mole hunter. He displaces them from our property and kills them occasionally. Haven't seen one in a few years.

7. Are you in an area of record highs or record lows for the temps this summer? Are you lucky and stuck in the middle where it's somewhat normal?

Somewhere in the middle, trending towards slightly cooler than normal, but still hot.

8. When was the last time you changed your furnace filter?

I don’t have a furnace. The heat/AC unit has a washable filter screen which I last cleaned about a month ago. Thanks for the reminder that I should do it again.

9. What's your favorite type of frog?

Frog Prince or Dissected ;)

I'm sorry, but I'm not a big fan of amphibians. I do, however, admire the defensive adaptations of the Poison Dart Frogs.

10. If you were to go on America's Got Talent, what would you do for your talent? (and choosing not to go is not an option...)

Can table setting and altar dressing be considered a talent? What about sleeping through almost anything, including fire drills and African drum assemblies?

11. Have you ever been on a rooftop of a building?

Yes and I enjoy it immensely. Favorites times: my apartment building with the maintenance manager tossing off parachute figurines; with an undergrad professor when he said that something I’d done was “worth shouting from the rooftops”; watching Fourth of July fireworks with Fr. K from the cupola.

12. What is the first website you go to each day when you sit down at your computer, other than your email?

iGoogle and Google reader (Shh… don’t tell my boss.)

Congratulations to your godbrother!

And I'm sure altar setting is considered a talent!
:-)

If it ain't--it oughta be!
