My dissertation defense is this afternoon. I am a nervous wreck even though I know there's nothing I can do about it now. The guys invited me for dinner last night, gave me pep talks and hugs, shared their experiences, and assured me of their prayers. Fr.D kindly gave me a blessing along with his assurance that it's okay to be scared and nervous. Food, fellowship, prayers, and love... I couldn't ask for anything more from them.
The "best" erratum found in my dissertation thus far: "was did not." Egad!

I collect quotes... I remember the gist of a quote and then have to look up the exact wording. I bet the would be great on one of your cards.
