1. Do you tend to have a guilty conscious?

It’s guilty conscience, not conscious. And yes, I easily feel guilty for small things. The sacrament of reconciliation is a wonderful gift from God.

2. Do you still have your wisdom teeth?

No… well, yes… it’s weird. I asked to have mine back after the oral surgeon extracted them. So I have two plus some pieces of the other two.

3. Peanut Butter - creamy or crunchy?

I prefer creamy for sandwiches and crunchy for most recipes, especially cold sesame noodles.

4. Get up off your butt. Take 5 steps. Which leg did you start out on?

Left.

5. What color is your favorite kitchen utensil?

My favorite kitchen utensil is a microplane zester. It’s silver.

6. Did you watch the Michael Jackson memorial/funeral?

No. Nope. Zero interest. Can the media move on to more important topics now, please?

7. Do you know anyone who graduated from high school this year? Were you invited to their graduation party? Did you go?

I almost said no, but then I remembered that my godsister graduated this year. I wasn’t invited to her party; I don’t even know if she had a party. But I live 6 states away.

8. White with black stripes or black with white stripes?

Given the color nomenclature used in the equine world, I’d say black with white stripes. But check the skin underneath to be sure.

9. If we were to call your 6th grade teacher, what would they say about you?

Which one? I think Mrs. S would only have good things to say about me. The one my father referred to as “the fount of misinformation” would likely have more to say about my brother. My family went to church with Mrs. W’s family through my college years, so I think she’d have plenty to say about me. The others… I don’t know.

10. Can you draw a perfect circle?

Absolutely. I have a compass in my desk drawer. ;-)

11. What was your favorite scratch & sniff sticker scent?

Strawberry.

12. What does your sibling do for a living?

One’s a student; the other’s an engineer.

13. How many light switches and electrical outlets are in the room that you are in right now?

One light switch, 10 electrical outlets (not counting the extras on the four surge protectors), four LAN connections, four phone jacks.

14. Do you know sign language?

I can finger spell and have a small vocabulary, but I don’t do ASL grammar very well. I know some things memorized in middle school: “This is the song that never ends…”; the Lord’s Prayer; “Take me out to the ball game”; “Silent Night.”

15. Do you step on cracks in the sidewalk?

I enjoyed the sidewalk crack and line rhymes as a child, either avoiding them or intentionally stepping on them depending on my mood. Now, however, I don’t care either way.

16. And the sheets on your bed look like....?

I have plain white sheets… fairly wrinkly, but I did make the bed this morning.

17. What is something that everyone else has, but you don't?

A brain…
