Hold The Knob, Wear Clean Shoes And Enjoy The Insanity!

Welcome to the July 2nd version of Thursday Thunks! Where we make you think a little bit before you blog! This week we will answer some crazy questions brought to you by Kimber, the number 14 and the color of your mother's hair dye.

1. When you close a door, do you close it quick and just let it slam or do you hold the knob and slowly shut it tight?
I will usually just let a door close. But if I’m entering a room where a meeting or something is going on, I generally take the time to close it gently. Or if it's the darn backdoor to my work, then I have to push it shut because it doesn't close on it's own.

2.Train A is moving at 60 miles an hour. Train B is moving at 22 miles an hour. They will pass each other at X time. Now what color shoes are you wearing when train A derails?
I’d be wearing my black and blue Teva sandals.


3. What if M&M's grew on trees? What color M&M tree would you have?
Blue, obviously… They taste the best, and I’m not allergic to them.

4. How many petals on a flower does it take to make it the perfect bloom?
It depends on the type of flower… five for violets, nine for a magnolia, and one left for “he loves me”...


5. I took you to spend $421.67 on you, what did we spend that money on?
We spent the day at the bookstore, browsing among the shelves, talking and drinking in the café, and left with a monstrous pile of new books to read, some CDs to listen to, and perhaps a few movies on DVD as well.

6. If you were a squash, what type of squash would you be?
I’m traditional, I like black current (Ribena)… or if you mean wrestling, I’d want to be the face not the jobber… or if we’re talking about plants (which you probably meant), an acorn squash because it has a little attitude and pretty shape and color, but still plays well with others.

7. Have you ever gotten a wrong number call and ended up talking to the person for longer than 5 minutes?
No. I’m not fond of talking on the telephone, so I quickly but politely terminate the call, wishing the caller a nice day/evening.

8. Why haven't you joined Berleen & Kimber at Insanity Cafe yet? Do we stink?
It’s nothing personal, but I have more than enough places to hangout wasting time on the internet. Given most people’s responses to the dirty ear question a few weeks ago, I would guess that you two do not literally stink.

9. Now for one of Ber's questions back when TT was brand new... Shampoo bottles say lather, rinse, repeat... do you?
Are you questioning my hygiene again?!? Of course I do… It’s not like I’ve only ever washed my hair once. It doesn’t specify when to repeat the lather and rinse process.

10. It's July, the year is half over. Do you see it as "whew that part is over" or best is yet to come?
I see it as “Oh dear, August is coming.”

11. Why do you do the Thursday Thunks meme?
The questions are amusing. Other people’s answers (and sometimes their interpretations of the questions) intrigue me. And it gives me something to do on Thursdays when I don’t want to do my real work.
