3000 and Grape Ape Thunks

Thursday Thunks (TT) is a blog meme for those who need a little kick in the butt to find something to post about. Your blog posts/answers to TT's can be type or pictures, doesn't matter! YOU pick, not us, we just give you the assignment (yep, just like English class... only we won't grade your spelling & grammar).

"This week we will answer some crazy questions brought to you by Kimber, the number 3000 and the color grape ape."

1. Are your ears dirty?
No... How rude to question my personal hygiene.

2. Would you rather be stung by a scorpion or bit by a snake? (Don't say either...no one wants to be in pain, that's the point. Pick one.)
The non-poisonous one… Actually I am more afraid of snakes, so being bitten by a scorpion would be less terrifying.

3. Do loud noises make you snappish? (i.e. A loud restaurant, screaming child next to you, booming stereo from a neighbor's house?)
Unfortunately I cannot say that I handle these situations well. Loud and persistent noise causes me to feel overwhelmed, at which point I either retreat into myself or flip out.

4. PETA- thoughts on this org.?
If PETA = People Eating Tasty Animals, I think it’s hilarious. As a scientist, however, I think of the prefix demoting 10^15 first.

5. Would you rather be the discoverer of the Loch Ness Monster or Bigfoot? (Imagination!)
Nessie... I would love to take a ride on this beast. Besides it would provide a good reason to travel abroad.

6. When in a public toilet and it's not flushed: do you flush & use or move on to a clean one?
If I suspect that the next one would be an improvement, I’ll move on. But if the general condition of the facility is questionable (and it's not.. well, y'know), I’ll flush.

7. Neighbors are having a noisy, party bonfire, what do you do?
If it’s not too late, I’ll peer over the fence and ask to join them. After a reasonable hour, especially on weeknights, I’ll ask them to dial down the noise a bit.

8. Do you play Monopoly? If so which version of the game?
I have the classic board version and a computer one. It is significantly easier to interrupt an electronic game, but unfortunately there are no physical pieces to tussle over.

9. Are you a remote hog?
I don’t generally care for any of the options on television and willing allow other s to pick the least objectionable option if we must watch.

10. Do you like the smell of paint?
Yes… that might explain a few things :D

11. My questions obviously suck this week. {I've had a bad week.}So do you think Kimber should have...

I would not have done a better job, but option b (lots of option b) might have been amusing.
