Joys and Sorrows

"Beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you."
--Philippians 4: 7-9
Witnessing the joy, grace, and blessings that flow from the ordinations upon the ordinandi and all those present
The sweet earnestness of my sister
Highly productive week at work
“Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.”
--Psalm 55: 22
Two who are dear to me suffering and in the hospital
Saying goodbye to a dear friend after a short visit
Exhaustion because there’s so much to do and far too little time

Thank you, Father, for having created us
and giving us to each other in the human family.
Thank you for being with us in all our joys and sorrows,
for your comfort in our sadness,
your companionship our loneliness.
Thank you for friends, for health, and for grace.
Amen.

*Sending comfort and encouragement your way.*

I've left a little something for you at my blog. I do hope you'll stop by and pick it up when you can. :)

Hugs!

Every one of these scriptures is very meaningful to me at this moment.

Thank you so much for the kind words of encouragement about my paper. It helps to hear from someone who knows the pain!
