I found a weekly meme where people share their Sleeping with Bread examens posted on their blogs and thought I’d join in.

For what moments this week am I most grateful?
My third graders derailed my lesson plan, but I am happy that they seem to want to understand the Church better and learn about Jesus.
BP leant me his shoulder... brought the box of Kleenex over, listened to me, shared his experience, and gave me encouragement. Followed by dinner together. (Deo gratias.)
I called MFF on Saturday evening on a whim and was told that I was the highlight of his day when the best part of the day is usually sleeping. (Definitely stepping up the prayers for him.)
For what moments this week am I least grateful?
When my supervisor walked in unexpectedly while I was teaching to observe me, I was momentarily rattled. I think my unease was evident as I tried to resume the lesson.
That a simple comment to colleague about her poor choice in rescheduling Happy Hour for Ash Wednesday was perceived as hostile, and she is now angry at me (again). This was apparently discussed at a meeting that I missed due to class, and no one noted that it was not a good choice of days. I regret that at this point I was peeved at the other Catholics in the group whom I felt should have objected.
Pax et bonum.

Like you, I am new to this meme (only joined within recent weeks). Like you, I was introduced to the Examen with Sleeping with Bread by my spiritual director when I was undergoing the Spiritual Exercises. Like you, I try to be honest with what I'm dealing now. I appreciate your honesty and I'm sure that God also appreciates your honesty. May the peace of the Lord be with you this coming week and especially in relation to the colleague you mentioned.
Ashley - what a lovely blog you have. Thank you for visiting me. Your Lenten intentions sound very noble and waaaaay more than I could hope to accomplish.
P.S. Your roommate sounds a bit defensive. Yes??
Oh, thank you for the slice of bread. It's always a good thing to take a look at the situations in other's lives--helps me look at my own, yaknow?
Welcome!

Adrienne: Yes, my colleague does seem defensive about the Ash Wednesday/Happy Hour issue.
