A 12 year old Canadian girl has won a school-wide speech contest speaking on the topic of abortion. If you haven't seen this yet, I assure the five minutes will be well spent.
I am in awe of Lia's ability and willingness to freely speak on such a controversial topic in the face of authorities' discouragement and opposition. Her words are well chosen, her delivery is well timed, and she does a far better job than I think I could do most days.
God bless her and those who've nurtured her thus far in life.
