There's an exhibit at the zoo where you can feed the giraffes. Since $5 for 3 pieces of romaine lettuce was too much, we saved some lettuce from our sandwiches at lunch.
Giraffes doing the splits are cute, but no picture of that got taken because... ooops!
It fell in the best possible location, right in front of a door into the exhibit, and the zoo keepers were very nice.
All's well that ends well.
