Thursday Thunks: It's Happened

Welcome to the March 11th version of Thursday Thunks!

Where we make you think a little bit before you blog!

This week we will answer some crazy questions brought to you by Berleen, the color of opals, and the number a thousand more than last week.

1. What is your favorite kind of cookie?
White Chocolate Macadamia nut…. Oatmeal raisin… Thin Mints… Actually, it’s the one that I can eat!

2. If a birds wing falls asleep, does it hurt when it tries to flap it's wings or does that make it feel better?
It probably hurts, but getting the blood circulating in the wing again helps.

3. Water - tab, bottle, filtered or....???
Tab is a soda isn’t it? I like tap water, but some places require filtering before I’ll drink it.

4. Would you (or do you) have a stripper pole installed in your home?
No. Never.

5. Do you still have any Christmas decoration up?
No, I took the last one down at the end of February. The colored lights don’t count; they’re a year-round decoration.

6. What brand of camera do you have?
I have a Nikon digital camera. But I have been using my phone’s camera more recently.

7. Why do paint colors have weird names?
There are too many paint colors to give them all simple names like Adam, Joe and Jane; and humans just aren’t inspired to paint their dining room 430E5A or 210C54.

8. Which toe is your favorite and which foot is it on?
I don’t have one… but I’ll sing “It’s the second toe on my left foot…”

9. What would you do if a celebrity sneezed in your face?
Say” God bless you;” offer him/her a tissue; and take a giant step backwards, wondering what he/she was doing in my face anyways. (Maybe that last one first...)

10. If a stranger came to your door and asked for a glass of water, would you give it to them?
Of course. Why not? It’s a simple thing to do for a fellow human being.

11. The government has asked that you pick the newest national holiday - what is it?
I would like to make the Feast of the Immaculate Conception a national holiday. It’s a Holy Day of Obligation in the United Sates regardless of the day of the week because she is our patroness. We should certainly celebrate it as a national holiday.

12. How many toothpicks could you fit into a beer can?
None, because I wouldn’t have opened a can of beer.

13. What’s the weirdest excuse you ever gave for missing school or work...or heck, even a social function, date, whatever?

I’m not good at making up clever excuses; I’d rather just give the true reason.
I declined a family birthday invite this year on account of a flat tire and not wanting to drive 3 hours on a spare tire. I ended up going for another reason, and there was no birthday party after all.

14. Can we stop now?

Yes, we can stop anytime we like. Did you mean to ask “May we stop now?”

Oh.....Thin Mints..... *sigh* I miss cookies and I don't even LIKE cookies....

And nope--no Holiday decorations left. But we do have pretty coloured lights on the wreath for Easter!
