Not Me

I have been busy preparing for the spring semester and trying to forget that the assistant Dean promised me last semester's teaching evaluations before Christmas. With this in mind, I was amused to stumble upon the following quote in a Nature editorial on last year's Nature Education white paper "Time to Decide", which discussed the results of a survey of 450 faculty members:

"Yet although there was general agreement about the low quality of undergraduate education, a substantial majority of the respondents felt that their own teaching was highly effective."
