Another Anniversary

I don't think I mentioned it last year, but my great-uncle--the patriarch of the family, my maternal grandfather's baby brother and last living sibling--passed away after hearing that there would be an autopsy performed on my brother's remains (long, complicated family drama). Today is the anniversary of his death.

May the Angels lead Don into Paradise.

May the Martyrs receive him at his coming

and take him to Jerusalem, the Holy City.

May the Choirs of the Angels receive him,

and may he,

with the once poor Lazarus, have rest everlasting.
