Happy Mole Day!

For those of you confused by the concept of a mole, the mole represents a number. Just as the term dozen refers to the number twelve, the mole represents the number 6.02 x 1023.

I baked "Mole'asses Cookies" to take to work. I found the cutest recipe to use as an experiment/activity for students using chemical nomenclature and measurements.

In my mole day searching I also stumbled upon a cute post about mole day disambiguation at Porch Pondering by Rae.

(A few links in case you want to learn more about
Mole Day and/or Avogadro's number....)

I wish you all a Happy Mole Day!

Welcome Rae... To disambiguate means to to remove the ambiguity from, i.e. to distinguish one similar word from another.
Stef... I like keeping things light :)
